The internet is one of the greatest inventions of our times, but it can also be a mean and scary place. When playing Bingo, we want all our players to have fun and enjoy themselves, and we have worked very hard to create a safe place in which to do so.
That is why it is essential for us to have chat rules and etiquette in place, to protect our players from the mean and scary side of the internet! We have Chat Hosts (CH) in each of our Bingo Chat rooms, who monitor players to ensure that everyone has a fun and positive experience.
While some may find it difficult to lose with grace, it is an absolute must when playing Bingo, as no one likes a negative-Nancy. Congratulate your fellow player on being successful, and if you’re the winner, be kind to your fellow players and wish them luck for their next game.
Don’t be a troll! If you’re not familiar with this term, it can be summed up as follows: “One who posts a deliberately provocative message with the intention of causing maximum disruption and argument”. In other words, don’t say things to be deliberately hurtful, otherwise you will quickly be removed by the CH.
Make Bingo Friends
Our Bingo Chats have been designed to make it easier for fellow players to connect with each other and meet new people, so chatting during games is encouraged. However, if one of your fellow players doesn’t respond to a message, just leave them be – some are shy at first!
However, as fun and friends are encouraged, if you’re silent for too many games, don’t be surprised if you can’t claim a chat enabled Bingo room. Participation, not just observation!
The rules are simple, and if you stick to them we ensure that you will have a great time! The CH’s decision is final, so don’t bother arguing with them.
